IISER Bhopal has the state of art library with a rich collection of books, journals and e-journals in the field of Sciences and allied areas related areas. Currently houses around 10,000 books, comprises of collection includes textbooks for the BS, BS-MS and PhD curriculum in Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Earth and Environmental Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering Sciences, Economic Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences. Library collection also includes documents in Computer Science, History of Science, light reading materials, Fictions, Stories, General books, Encyclopedias and Dictionaries, Magazines etc. Research books & Monographs are also included in the collection for labs & research purposes.

The Lecture Hall Complex (LHC) provides a place for regular academic classes and for the events for large gathering. This place includes multiple classrooms of different sizes and an auditorium. IISER Bhopal has an unique lecture hall complex with various spacious classes for different gatherings. LHC also has an auditorium equipped with all digital facilities. Institute has a Shopping Complex comprising shops for daily necessities and groceries, fruits/juices, books and stationery, photocopy, travel agency, courier services, miscellaneous items, restaurant, laundry services etc.

The State Bank of India and Post Office are located at the ground floor of the Shopping Complex. There are two ATM booths, one of SBI and another one of Canara Bank are available inside the campus.

Moving around the campus with zero carbon footprints, E-Rickshaw services are available for easy movement anywhere within the campus on phone call basis.

The Indian currency is the Rupee; one rupee consists of 100 paise. Coins in denominations of 1, 2, 5 and 10 rupees and bill in denominations of 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, 500 and 2000 are in wide circulation.
