International Admissions at IISER Bhopal

Programme Name: Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)

Channels for Admission of International Students:

1. Through Institute Channel:
Interested International applicants can apply through PhD Admission at IISER Bhopal. Each department facilitates PhD admissions twice a year (January and July cycles). Prospective candidates are advised to check the PhD Admission at IISER Bhopal website for admission-related updates.

2. Through Study in India (SII) Channel:
Interested International applicants can also apply through Study In India Channel (SII Channel) in PhD Program.

Funding: Upto 10 International PhD Fellowships, at par with Institute Fellowships are available.

AND
2. Four-year Bachelors’ degree or five-year integrated degree or master’s degree in respective subject with minimum 60% score or CGPA/CPI of 7.0 on a 10-point scale at both, Bachelor’s and Master’s levels.
AND
3. 280 score in GRE general test or valid GATE score or any Indian national examinations relevant to the subject of admission to PhD
AND
4. 60 score in TOEFL/ 6 in IELTS or any other certificate on English proficiency
AND
5.Selection through online interviews 		Preferably not more than 28 years on the date of application (as per passport)
